Klearme Skincare

 

BRIEF:  Klearme is a skincare brand founded on the value to provide high-efficacy products for acne-prone skin with the purpose to help people understand that acne is normal. 

APPROACH: It was important that the brand was fun, approachable yet very real since Klearme talks about real skin and real people.

We started with researching the market to understand how the brand should exist to really stand out and then moved to build their strategy, identity, packaging, website, and directed their photoshoot.


The name Klearme was decided because of its simplicity and ability to clearly communicate our brand’s philosophy. A simple, elegant, and clean wordmark with academic and editorial characteristics. We selected colours that are bright and contrasting that represent the brand emotion.

Acne or for that matter skincare is complicated and can be intimidating. So, It was important that Klearme was an educational brand that tells you the correct way to deal with acne not just medically but also mentally. We created brand patterns, product icons, stickers that communicate the brand values while keeping them aligned with the visual language.

The Packaging had to represent the brand by looking intelligent, informative, and structured. We followed a clear hierarchy since each product going forward will have a different name which needed to have enough focus.

To make the unboxing more fun, we added a small introduction of our brand belief, a pattern to convey our brand narrative, and a few lines on the sides of the box as a reminder for our consumers.

We kept the secondary packaging extremely simple yet created a contrast using our brand colours. We added a super informative leaflet about how to use the product/what goes inside and a letter from the founder talking about our values & belief. It was important that our consumers really understand the brand before they use the products.


Real People. Real Skin. Real Results. - A brand that celebrates the real you. With Klearme, we wanted to Klear the stigma of perfect skin and beauty standards. We wanted our consumers to celebrate their real skin and love the skin they wear.

The narrative of Klearme was simple - There is nothing like perfect skin. Healthy Skin = Beautiful Skin and that is exactly what we wanted to portray from our images - Happy and Real people comfortable in their own skin.

We conceptualised, directed, and produced their people and product photoshoot to be used across their digital & print platforms.

We wanted the website to be more than just its product, so we made it more brand-specific, bold, and informative. We made sure the design and flow was in synergy with the visual language created above with easy navigation and consumer journey.
