Project Scope: Brand strategy, Brand Research, and Brand Identity and Visual Language

Biome: Sustainable Textiles

 

BRIEF: Biome is a natural and sustainable brand that uses 100% natural and herbal dyes for their garments. Their products are certified to be organic, ethically sourced, sustainable, and environmentally conscious.

APPROACH: To ensure the product packaging was transparent and honest, as per their company’s beliefs, I put together a branding solution that reflects the company mission and vision of sustainability.

To do so, I decided to keep the brand language clean and minimal just like their product.


 

I used the Endless or Eternal Knot (a Buddhist symbol) signifying that everything is connected. This was incorporated in their symbol and brand pattern and was strung together throughout their products and brand collaterals.

Their colour palette was inspired by the colours of nature. I used the same to create a visual identity that signified the natural nature and authenticity of their products.
